Kenny Irwin Jr., a Palm Springs resident for many decades, transformed his home into a holiday wonderland complete with impressive sculptures called RoboLights. RoboLights is a popular tourist attraction all year round that attracts thousands of tourists each Christmas.
Irwin relocated his exhibit temporarily to Detroit, Michigan in 2019. He plans to return the display once he finds a suitable home in Palm Springs. Irwin’s ambitions for the desert are growing, and he has bought land 10 miles north from Palm Springs to build his amusement park themed around robots.
